Google Ads Transparency / API Reference

google_ads_transparency_search_ads

Look up a brand's Google ads in one call. The default way in: resolves the brand name to the best-matching verified advertiser, then returns their ads. Use google_ads_transparency_find_advertiser instead when several businesses share the name and you need to pick deliberately. Needs no account, connection or API key, and works in 180+ countries — this is the tool to reach for when Meta's Ad Library returns nothing because the advertiser is outside the EU/UK. Args: query: Brand, company or domain, e.g. 'nike', 'booking.com'. region: Two-letter country code, e.g. 'US', 'IL', 'GB'. format: Optional filter — 'TEXT', 'IMAGE' or 'VIDEO'. Blank for all. limit: Max ads to return, up to 200. Default 40. refresh: Skip the cache and ask Google again.

This is a read-only tool: it returns transparency search ads for your Google Ads Transparency account. It changes nothing.
