Meta Ads / API Reference
meta_ads_check_permissions
Meta Ads tool. Show which Meta permissions the connected token actually holds, and what is missing. Use this first when a Page or Instagram tool fails with a permissions error, and to check App Review readiness -- Page/Instagram write scopes only work for app testers until Meta approves them, so a scope can be requested at connect time and still not be granted.
This is a read-only tool: it checks permissions from your Meta Ads account. It changes nothing.

Before you can call it
This tool needs a connected Meta Ads account. The Meta Ads connect guide covers the OAuth flow and the permissions it asks for, and the quickstart gets a client talking to the server in about five minutes.
