gads_get_ad_group_primary_status
Google Ads tool (extended/low-level coverage). For common tasks prefer the RECOMMENDED google_ads_* actions; use these only for advanced operations those don't cover. Get primary status and reasons (e.g. CAMPAIGN_PAUSED, BUDGET_DEPLETED) for an ad group.
This is a read-only tool: it retrieves ad group primary status from your Google Ads account. It changes nothing.
