First, create a free MCP Ads account and connect the ad accounts you want Duet to see. It only ever sees what you connected there.

Add MCP Ads in Claude, then ask Duet
Duet uses the memory, skills and connectors from your Claude account. Add MCP Ads to Claude once as a custom connector, sign in through the browser, and Duet can use it in its one ongoing thread.
Before you ask: in Claude Desktop or on claude.ai, go to Settings and find the Connectors section. Choose Add custom connector and paste https://mcp-ads.com/mcp-slim. Claude will open a browser window for the one-time authorisation.
first message to Duet
Use MCP Ads for every question about my ads, analytics or SEO.
List the ad accounts you can see through it.
In my morning brief, include yesterday's spend, CPA and ROAS across Google Ads and Meta.

Already added MCP Ads to Claude? Then there is nothing more to set up: Duet uses the same connector.
2AskLive data
Ask anything about your ad accounts
Once connected, Duet pulls live numbers from every account you linked. Start with questions like these:
What should I know about my ads this morning?
Yesterday Google Ads and Meta spent $412 at a $31 CPA and a 3.4 ROAS. One Google campaign is on pace to use its daily budget by 2 pm. Want me to draft a budget change for your approval?

What to ask Duet once it is connected
Morning brief
Yesterday in one line per platform
“In my morning brief, give me yesterday's spend, conversions, CPA and ROAS for Google Ads and Meta, and the campaign that moved most since the day before.”
Google Ads
Overspend alert
“When you check my apps, look at Google Ads budget pacing and alert me only if a campaign will spend its daily budget well before the day ends.”
Tracking
Conversion tracking stopped
“Alert me if a Google Ads conversion action recorded nothing yesterday after recording conversions every day the week before. That usually means the tag stopped firing.”
Budgets
Budget changes for my approval
“When a campaign beats my target CPA for a full week, draft a budget change that moves money to it from the weakest one. Show me old and new budgets and wait for my approval.”
Social posts
This week on the calendar
“On Monday, draft this week's Facebook and Instagram posts from our latest blog posts, show them to me, and after I approve put them on my MCP Ads content calendar.”
Google Ads
Wasted spend audit
“Find search terms with over $50 spend and zero conversions in the last 30 days and group them into negative keyword themes.”
Why an always-on agent changes the job
A chat answers when you ask. Duet sends you a short brief each morning on what matters in your connected apps, and checks them every few hours, sending an alert when something needs attention. With MCP Ads connected, your ad accounts are part of that. Duet runs its tasks on its own cloud virtual machine and browser, so it does not need your computer.
What it will not do without you
Duet asks for your approval before actions like sending a message, making a payment, signing a document or deleting a file, and it does not see your passwords. MCP Ads adds its own layer: budgets, statuses and new campaigns go through its write confirmations and workspace controls, and new campaigns are created paused. Duet can draft a budget change; it goes live when you approve it.
One thread, your Claude setup
Duet uses the memory, skills and connectors already on your Claude account, so a connector you added in Claude is there for Duet too, and setup is minimal. Everything happens in one ongoing thread, so an alert and your follow-up on it sit in the same place.
Let the calendar publish, not Duet
Duet drafts and schedules; the MCP Ads content calendar publishes each post at its time. Every post it schedules shows up on the same calendar in the dashboard, where you can move or cancel it.
Read every budget in plain money
Meta takes budgets in the currency's smallest unit, so 5000 means $50.00. Before you approve a budget change Duet drafted, ask it to state the old and new budget in plain currency.
Duet, Dots or Muse?
All three are always-on agents, and MCP Ads works with each on the same URL. Duet uses your Claude connectors, OpenAI Dots use ChatGPT's connectors, and Meta Muse takes one setup message. Use the one you already work in.
The honest limits
Duet is a research preview, launched by Anthropic on October 21, 2026, with a waitlist for Claude Pro and Max subscribers in the US; Team and Enterprise plans are not included yet. It runs on the web at claude.ai and in the Duet app for iOS, within your existing Claude plan limits. Anthropic says early versions may misinterpret emails, misprioritize tasks and struggle with personal bookings, so check a brief before you act on it.
Questions
Which URL do I add in Claude?
https://mcp-ads.com/mcp-slim. It is the same custom connector Claude itself uses, so if MCP Ads is already in your Claude connectors, Duet has it.
Do I need an API key?
No. The connector signs in through the browser (OAuth). There is no key to copy, and Duet does not see your passwords.
Who can use Duet?
At launch, Claude Pro and Max subscribers in the US, from a waitlist. Team and Enterprise plans are not included yet.
Can Duet see accounts I have not connected?
No. It sees exactly the platforms and ad accounts you connected in MCP Ads, under the same workspace scope as the web app.
