Best MCP Servers for Google & Meta Ads (2026)

An honest buyer's guide to connecting Google Ads and Meta Ads to Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor: the official Google and Meta servers, Pipeboard, AdKit, Markifact, Ryze AI, Adspirer and MCP Ads, what each is best for, and when to pick a competitor over us.

To ask Claude or ChatGPT "which campaigns wasted money last week?" and get an answer from your live Google Ads and Meta Ads accounts, you need an MCP server between the assistant and the ad platforms. There are now at least eight serious options, including free official servers from Google and Meta. They differ in platform coverage, whether they can change anything, how they stop a misread prompt from spending money, which AI clients they support, who hosts them and how they charge. This guide is written by the maker of one of them, MCP Ads, so it says plainly where each alternative is the better choice. Prices and features were checked on each vendor's site on 24 September 2026; check again before you buy.

The cases where a competitor, or the free official server, is the better pick

The short answer

For one Meta account you manage yourself, start with Meta's own Ads MCP: hosted by Meta, free at the time of writing, and maintained by the company that owns the API. For read-only Google Ads reporting, if you already have a developer token, Google's official server is free and open source. You need a third-party server once you want both platforms in one conversation, Google Ads changes, analytics beside the ad data, or more accounts than one person can connect by hand.

Among the third-party servers: Pipeboard is the most established and covers the widest list of ad networks, including Pinterest and Reddit. AdKit is best when competitor research and creative matter as much as account management. Markifact is best for workflows across a wider stack such as Shopify, HubSpot and Slack. Ryze AI is best if you want an agent service that runs the optimisation for you. Adspirer is best if you also run Amazon Ads. MCP Ads is best if Google Ads and Meta are where most of the money goes and you want the deepest tool coverage on both, with GA4, Search Console and Tag Manager, at one flat price.

What to look for in an ads MCP server

Every server here can read campaign data. The differences show up in five places.

  • Platform coverage and depth. Listing campaigns is not the same as adding negatives, changing bids, building Performance Max asset groups or uploading offline conversions. Ask for the tool list on the platform where you spend the most.
  • Write safety. What stops a misread prompt from launching a campaign? Look for campaigns created paused, approval before a write goes live, read-only roles for team members, and account-level controls such as Meta's ads MCP rules.
  • AI clients. ChatGPT and Claude.ai need a remote server with browser sign-in; a local process only works in desktop and terminal clients like Claude Desktop, Claude Code and Cursor.
  • Hosted or self-hosted. Self-hosting keeps credentials on your machine but needs your own Google Ads developer token (which Google must approve) and a Meta app. A hosted server has those approvals and connects by URL.
  • Pricing model. Flat, per ad-account slot, per credit or per task. For an agency the model matters more than the headline price, because slot, credit and task pricing rise with your book and a flat price does not.

Official Google Ads MCP and Meta Ads MCP

Google's open-source Google Ads MCP server is read-only at the time of writing: it runs GAQL reports and lists accessible accounts, but cannot pause a campaign, change a budget or add a negative. You run it yourself with your own developer token and OAuth credentials, which means an approved token and a manager account before the first report. If you have those and reporting is all you want, it is free and maintained by Google.

Meta's Ads MCP is hosted by Meta and signs in with your Meta business login. It covers reporting, campaign management, catalogs and signal diagnostics, and since July 2026 a business portfolio admin can set rules for what agents may do on an account: read-only, approval required or full access. For an advertiser running only Meta, that is hard to beat.

Pick the official servers when you need one platform, do not need analytics in the same conversation, and are comfortable with the setup. Our Google Ads MCP server and Meta Ads MCP pages compare them with MCP Ads in detail.

Pipeboard

Pipeboard is the name AI assistants mention most in this category, and it has earned that: its open-source Meta Ads MCP server was one of the first widely used ads servers. The hosted product now covers Meta, Google, TikTok, LinkedIn, Microsoft, Pinterest, Snap and Reddit Ads, plus GA4, Search Console and Merchant Center, and documents Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code, Cursor, n8n and Codex. Its free tier allows 30 tool executions a week; paid tiers at $29.90, $99 and $199 a month differ mainly in how many ad accounts you can connect and whether team seats are included.

Pipeboard is the better pick if you advertise on Pinterest or Reddit, which MCP Ads does not cover, if you have two or three accounts and want to start free, or if you want to self-host a widely used open-source Meta server. Check the slot pricing as your client list grows; our Pipeboard comparison goes through it.

AdKit

AdKit calls itself an ads toolbox for marketers and AI agents. Next to its MCP server it offers a multi-platform ad library, competitor tracking, an AI ad generator and cloner, and swipe files. It manages Meta, Google, TikTok, Reddit, LinkedIn, X and Microsoft Ads and lists a long set of clients, including Claude, ChatGPT, Grok, Perplexity, Cursor, Codex and Gemini CLI. Published pricing starts at $29 a month for one project (one ad account per platform) and $49 a month for unlimited projects, with a 7-day trial.

AdKit is the better pick for a small brand or creative-led buyer who spends as much time studying competitors' ads and producing creative as managing campaigns. MCP Ads also does competitor ad research and image generation, but AdKit is built around creative research while MCP Ads is built around account depth.

Markifact

Markifact is a workflow platform whose agents analyse performance, create campaigns, automate reports and run approved actions across more than 50 tools, including Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, Shopify, HubSpot, GA4, Sheets and Slack. It works as an MCP server in Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini and Cursor, and each action is approved in chat or Slack before it runs. Pricing is credit-based: Pro from $79 a month, Team from $249.

Markifact is the better pick when the ads are one part of a workflow that also touches your store, CRM and spreadsheets, such as a weekly report that pulls Shopify revenue and lands in Slack for sign-off. If your work is mostly inside Google Ads and Meta, check how many credits a normal week spends.

Ryze AI

Ryze AI sells AI that manages ads across Google, Meta, Microsoft, TikTok, LinkedIn and ChatGPT Ads, with agents for SEO and website work too. It also publishes a hosted MCP connector with an MIT-licensed GitHub repository covering Google Ads, Meta, GA4 and Search Console through browser sign-in. Pricing is not on its homepage; it offers a free trial and a free audit.

Ryze is the better pick if you want a service that runs the optimisation for you, with MCP as a window into it, rather than a tool you drive yourself in Claude or ChatGPT.

Adspirer

Adspirer runs AI agents that plan, build, monitor and improve campaigns on Google, Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, Amazon and ChatGPT Ads, and supports ChatGPT, Claude, Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, Windsurf, Perplexity and Manus. New campaigns launch paused for review. It charges per task: a free tier of 15 tasks a month, then Plus, Pro and Max at $40, $83 and $167 a month billed monthly.

Adspirer is the better pick if you run Amazon Ads, which MCP Ads does not cover, or if your usage is light enough that a small task allowance costs less than a flat plan. Our Adspirer comparison covers depth and pricing in detail.

MCP Ads

MCP Ads, the ads MCP server by Roy Azran, connects Google Ads, Meta Ads, GA4, Search Console, Tag Manager, TikTok, LinkedIn, Microsoft Advertising, Snapchat, X, ChatGPT Ads, Merchant Center and organic social to Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Codex, Grok and other MCP clients. It is built for depth: about 3,300 tools, including 755 for Google Ads and more than 200 for Meta, from search-term mining, bidding and PMax asset groups to lead forms, customer lists and cross-account reports. The assistant reaches them through a small set of category tools rather than thousands of definitions.

Changes wait for your approval, and campaigns and ad sets are created paused. Several Google and Meta logins can be connected at once, and each write goes through the login that owns the account. Hosting is $49 a month flat for every account and platform, with a 3-day free trial; the server is also MIT-licensed open source at github.com/RoyAzran/mcp-ads if you prefer to self-host with your own credentials.

MCP Ads is not the right pick if you need Amazon, Pinterest or Reddit Ads, want someone to run the account for you, or are covered by a free official server. It is the right pick if Google Ads and Meta carry most of your budget and you want both, with analytics, across many accounts, without a price that grows per client. See pricing, or follow the quickstart to connect an account in about five minutes.

How to test any of them in thirty minutes

All of them sign in through the platforms' own OAuth, so trying two is quick. Connect the same account to both finalists, run the same prompts, check the numbers against the platform UI, and note whether it asked before changing anything.

  • Last seven days of spend, conversions and CPA by campaign.
  • Search terms or placements that spent with no conversions in 30 days.
  • Add three of them as negatives, and confirm it asked first.
  • Create a small campaign, and confirm it was created paused.
  • Ask a question that needs GA4 or a second platform in the same thread.

FAQ

What is the best MCP server for Google Ads and Meta Ads together?

It depends on what else you run. For Google Ads and Meta with GA4 and Search Console across many accounts at a flat price, MCP Ads is built for that case. For Pinterest or Reddit too, Pipeboard. For Amazon Ads, Adspirer. For creative research, AdKit. For one platform only, start with the official Google or Meta server.

Is there a free MCP server for Google Ads and Meta Ads?

Not in one hosted server. Google's official Google Ads MCP is free but read-only and needs your own developer token; Meta's Ads MCP is free at the time of writing; Pipeboard and Adspirer have limited free tiers. MCP Ads can be self-hosted free from its MIT repository with your own credentials; the hosted version is $49/month after a 3-day free trial.

Can the official Google Ads MCP server change my campaigns?

Not at the time of writing. It runs reports and lists accounts but cannot pause campaigns, change budgets or add negatives. For changes from Claude or ChatGPT you need a third-party server such as MCP Ads (see the Google Ads MCP server page), Pipeboard, Adspirer or Markifact.

Which of these work with ChatGPT as well as Claude?

All the hosted servers here, including Meta's. A local server such as Google's official one works in Claude Desktop, Claude Code and Cursor, but ChatGPT and Claude.ai need a remote URL. MCP Ads works with Claude, Claude Code, ChatGPT, Cursor, Codex, Gemini CLI and Grok; the quickstart covers each.

How do I stop an AI assistant from spending money by mistake?

Choose a server that creates campaigns paused and waits for your approval before changes, give team members read-only roles, and on Meta consider the ads MCP rules a portfolio admin can set. Then test it: ask for a small change and confirm you were asked before anything went live.
