vs
Madgicx

Madgicx is an automation and creative-analytics platform built primarily for Meta Ads, with Google Ads reporting alongside it. It runs on rules, dashboards and its own AI features inside a fixed UI. It does not expose an MCP server, does not plug into Claude or Claude Code, and cannot answer free-form questions about your account in the client you already use.

From $99/mo under $2.5K Meta spend to about $329/mo at $20–30K spend, plus $49/mo for Cloud Tracking (public tiers as of Sep 2026; the full AI plan is priced in-app)

What Madgicx does well

Madgicx is one of the more complete Meta Ads platforms on the market. Its strength is a purpose-built interface for the things Meta buyers do every day: creative-level reporting that shows which images and videos are carrying an account, audience launch tools that turn a long list of interest and lookalike ideas into ad sets in a few clicks, and automation rules that pause, scale or restart ad sets on a schedule. It has invested heavily in creative analytics and in its own AI features for generating and scoring ad copy and images, and it produces client-facing reports without much setup. If your entire job is Meta and you want a dashboard that has already made most of the layout decisions for you, Madgicx is a mature choice.

Where it stops

Madgicx is a destination. You go to it, log in, and work inside its screens. That is fine until the question you have is not one of the screens. "Why did CPA rise on Tuesday for the retargeting campaign but not prospecting" is answerable in Madgicx only if you know which report to open and which filters to set; it does not have a conversational layer that pulls the data and explains it. Its Google Ads support is reporting-oriented rather than management-oriented, so keyword and search-term work still happens in the Google Ads UI. GA4 and Search Console are outside its scope. And because there is no MCP server, none of it is reachable from Claude, Claude Code, Cursor or ChatGPT — the assistant you are already using for the rest of your work cannot see your accounts through Madgicx.

What MCP Ads does instead

MCP Ads is not a dashboard. It is a hosted MCP server that exposes 234 Meta Ads tools and 755 Google Ads tools — plus GA4, Search Console, Tag Manager, TikTok, LinkedIn, Microsoft and others — to whichever AI client you use. You ask a question in plain language; Claude calls the right tool, reads live data and answers. Frequency, creative fatigue, delivery diagnostics and placement breakdowns are tool calls, not screens. The write tools let the assistant create campaigns (paused by default), change budgets when you say so, upload creatives and build audiences. There is no fixed UI to learn because there is no UI at all beyond a dashboard for connecting accounts.

Pricing model

Madgicx prices on a tiered basis that scales with monthly ad spend, with add-ons for some of its AI and creative features; check its current pricing page for the tier that matches your spend. MCP Ads has a free plan with 30 tool calls a month and a single unlimited plan at a flat $49/month that covers every account and platform you connect, with no spend-based scaling and no per-seat line. For an agency running many small accounts the flat rate is usually the cheaper option; for a single large account the spend-based tier may work out similar, so compare against your own numbers.

Who should pick which

Pick Madgicx if you are a Meta-first buyer who wants creative analytics and audience launch tooling in a polished interface, and you are not using an AI assistant for account work. Pick MCP Ads if you live in Claude or Claude Code, manage Google Ads and analytics alongside Meta, want to ask arbitrary questions rather than pick from prebuilt reports, or run an agency where the number of connected accounts matters more than the depth of any one dashboard. Plenty of teams run both: Madgicx for the creative-testing workflow, MCP Ads for the daily "what changed and why" conversation.

A typical week with each

With Madgicx, the week runs through its screens: the creative insights board to find fatigued assets, the audience launcher to spin up the next test, the automation tab to check what the rules did. With MCP Ads, the same week is a series of questions in Claude — "which Meta creatives have a frequency above three and falling CTR", "build three ad sets from these interest lists, paused", "what did the retargeting campaign return versus prospecting" — answered by meta_ads_frequency_watcher, meta_ads_adset_matrix_builder and meta_ads_campaign_performance.

Migration notes

There is nothing to migrate. MCP Ads reads and writes the ad accounts directly through Meta and Google OAuth, so your campaigns, rules and reports in Madgicx keep running untouched. Connect the accounts, add the connector URL to your client, and start asking. If you later cancel Madgicx, the only things you lose are its automation rules and saved reports — your accounts are unaffected because both tools operate on the platform itself, not on a copy of it.

Verdict

Madgicx is the better Meta-only dashboard; MCP Ads is the better choice if you want your AI assistant to have live access to Meta, Google Ads and analytics together. If your workflow already runs through Claude, MCP Ads replaces most of what you would open Madgicx for.

The core difference

Madgicx is a rule-based or UI-based tool. You configure what it does, and it does exactly that — no more, no less. That works for predictable, repetitive automations.

MCP Ads is different: you talk to Claude, and Claude pulls live data from your accounts to answer questions, explain performance, and take actions. You are not limited to predefined rules — you can ask anything, explore any question, and act on the answer in the same conversation.

If you already know what rules you want to run, Madgicx is a reasonable tool for that. If you want to understand your accounts, find what you are missing, and take faster action without switching between dashboards, MCP Ads is the better fit.
