eCommerce Growth

6 skills Claude can run against your live accounts through MCP Ads. Each one lists who it is for and the phrase that triggers it.

eCommerce growth skills are built around revenue and return on ad spend rather than clicks and conversions, because in a store those are the only numbers that matter. They cover Shopping and Performance Max campaign performance, product-level profitability, feed and product issues, cart abandonment, seasonal planning and the split of budget between prospecting and retargeting. Store owners, eCommerce managers and performance agencies run the weekly revenue optimiser every week, the product and category reviews monthly, and the seasonal planning skills four to six weeks before a peak such as Black Friday or a summer sale. Connect Google Ads, Meta Ads and the GA4 property with eCommerce events through MCP Ads; a connected WooCommerce store adds direct order and stock data the ad platforms cannot see. The procedure reads Shopping and Performance Max performance, product-level ROAS, GA4 item performance and checkout funnel data, and the store's own top and bottom sellers, then applies the skill's rules for where more money would earn more revenue and where it is being spent on products that never convert. The output is a table of products and campaigns with the recommended action, a set of bid and budget changes for approval, and a short commentary on the week or month written for someone who thinks in margin, not impressions.

Prompt
Run the weekly revenue optimiser for the store and show me which products deserve more budget.
Claude runs gads_shopping_performance and gads_get_pmax_performance for the last two weeks alongside ga4_ecommerce_items and get_ga_ecommerce_7d. It ranks products by revenue and return on ad spend, flags products consuming spend with no purchases, and identifies products converting well in GA4 that are getting little ad exposure. For example, it may show a category with a strong purchase rate sitting in an asset group with a small budget. It proposes budget shifts and product exclusions, notes any cart abandonment change in the checkout funnel, and after approval applies the campaign budget changes and reports them. The commentary is a few paragraphs written around revenue, not clicks.

Frequently asked questions

Do the skills understand Performance Max, which hides most of its data?

They work with what Google exposes: asset group performance, listing groups and product-level reports. The skills say plainly where PMax reporting limits what can be concluded rather than inventing detail.

Can Claude see product margin?

Not from the ad platforms. If you give it margin per product or category, or connect a store where it is recorded, the skills use it to optimise for profit rather than revenue.
