Weekly Campaigner Workflows

7 skills Claude can run against your live accounts through MCP Ads. Each one lists who it is for and the phrase that triggers it.

Weekly workflow skills bundle the optimisation work an account manager does every Monday into single commands. The weekly optimisation routine reviews last week across Google Ads, Meta Ads and SEO, adds negatives, checks creative fatigue, and produces the task list for the week. The bid, budget and ad optimisers each take one lever and go deeper. The search term harvester turns last week's queries into new keywords and negatives. The weekly GA4 intelligence report explains the week from the website's point of view. The eCommerce revenue optimiser adds product-level review of Shopping and Performance Max campaigns for online stores. These are run by agency campaign managers for every client, and by in-house marketers for their own accounts, at the start of the week so changes have the full week to show effect. Connect Google Ads, Meta Ads, GA4 and Search Console through MCP Ads; each skill works with whatever subset is available and says which parts it skipped. The procedure is long but fixed, so the review is consistent from week to week and client to client. The output is a written summary of what happened last week and why, the list of changes Claude proposes (and, after approval, made), and a task list for the things only a person can do, such as new creative or a landing page change.

Prompt
Run the weekly optimisation routine for the Ridgeway Plumbing account.
Claude begins with gads_campaign_performance and meta_ads_campaign_performance for the last two weeks and get_ga_compare_wow for the site, then works through the checklist: gads_get_search_terms_report for negatives and keyword candidates, gads_keyword_performance for bid changes, meta_ads_frequency for fatigued ads, gsc_compare_periods for organic movement. It presents proposed changes in one table, for example a dozen new negatives, three keyword bid reductions and one Meta ad to pause, each with the figure behind it. After you approve, it applies them and confirms. The summary ends with a task list for the week, such as a new ad variation to brief, and a paragraph you can send to the client.

Frequently asked questions

Can I run only the parts that apply to a client?

Yes. The routine skips any platform that is not connected, and you can tell Claude to leave out a section, for example SEO for a client with no organic work.

How does it know the client's targets?

From the client profile set up with the client DNA skill in the Foundation category. Without one, the skills use sensible generic thresholds and say so.
