Agency Skills: Client Setup, Reporting & Management
12 skills Claude can run against your live accounts through MCP Ads. For agencies running many accounts: the client profile every other skill reads and a performance-drop diagnosis, client-ready summaries and retention alerts, and onboarding, health and upsell routines across the book.
Foundation Skills
Foundation skills are the ones to run before any other skill in the library, because they set up the context everything else depends on. The client DNA setup creates the profile that every other workflow reads: business type, goals, targets, platforms in use, service area, what success looks like, and how the client likes to be spoken to. Without it, the daily, weekly and monthly skills fall back to generic defaults; with it, a lead-gen client is judged on cost per lead and an eCommerce client on ROAS, and the reports use the client's own language. The skill creator helps you write new skills of your own in the same format, so a procedure your agency runs a particular way can become a reusable command. These are run once per client at onboarding, and again when the client's goals or platforms change, by whoever owns the account relationship. You need at least one platform connected through MCP Ads so Claude can read the account names and confirm the setup, but the profile itself is mostly a conversation: Claude asks the questions a senior account manager would ask on the first call and records the answers. The output is a saved client profile that the other skills reference by name, and, for the skill creator, a complete skill file you can download and share.
Run this first before using any other skill. Tell Claude about your business โ what you sell, who your customers are, your monthly budget, your target cost per sale or lead, and which platforms you advertise on. Every other skill will then adapt its language, metrics, and recommendations to your specific business. Without this, skills use generic defaults. With it, every output sounds like it was written specifically for you.

Client Reporting & Management
Client reporting and management skills exist for the people whose week is shaped by other people's expectations: agency account managers, freelancers with several clients, and in-house marketers who report upward. The monthly reporting pack runs at month end and produces one client-ready document covering Google Ads, Meta Ads, SEO and GA4 together. The client retention alert runs on Friday and scans every account for anything that could turn into a complaint call on Monday: a performance drop, a budget overrun, a disapproved ad, a tracking outage. Performance drop diagnosis runs the moment a client asks why the numbers fell. New client onboarding runs in the first week of an engagement and produces the audit, the quick wins and the 30-60-90 day plan. Connect every platform the client uses through MCP Ads; the reporting pack builds a section for each connected platform and notes which are missing. The procedure reads the relevant performance, change history and analytics data for the period, compares it with the previous period and the client's targets from their profile, and writes in a client-facing tone. The output is a finished document, not a pile of numbers: an executive summary, per-channel sections with commentary, what changed and why, and next steps. Most agencies paste it into their own template.
Generates a clean summary of all active campaigns across Google Ads and Meta Ads. Shows spend, conversions, CPA, ROAS, and trend versus last period for each campaign. Designed for business owners who want a clear picture of where their money is going and what it is returning, without having to log into multiple platforms.
For: Everyone
Give me a summary of all my campaigns and how they are performing
A Friday afternoon check designed to catch issues that could trigger a client complaint on Monday. Scans for performance drops greater than 30%, budget overruns, disapproved ads, tracking outages, and frequency spikes. For each issue found, generates a suggested client communication that is transparent and solutions-focused.
For: Agencies
Run the client retention check for all accounts this week
Summarises all active keywords by performance. Groups into profitable (below target CPA), borderline (within 20% of target), underperforming (above target), and zero results (spending with no conversions). Written for business owners who want to understand their Google Ads keyword spend, not just campaigners.
For: Agencies, Business Owners
Show me which keywords are working and which are wasting money
The complete onboarding audit for a new client. Covers Google Ads, Meta Ads, GA4, and Search Console in sequence. Identifies the 5 critical issues to fix immediately, the 5 quick wins to show results in the first month, and builds a 30-60-90 day plan. Includes a section on what the previous agency missed.
For: Agencies
Run the new client onboarding audit for [client name]
Runs through a structured pre-flight check before any campaign launches. Verifies conversion tracking, budget settings, targeting, ad approvals, UTM parameters, negative keywords, audience exclusions, and landing page alignment. Catches the most common launch mistakes before they cost money. Produces a pass/fail report with any blockers clearly flagged.
For: Agencies, Business Owners

Agency Management
Agency management skills work across every client at once instead of one account at a time. They are written for agency owners, heads of paid media and account directors who need to know which of thirty accounts needs attention today, whether budgets are pacing across the whole book, where spend is being wasted, and which client is at risk of leaving. The cross-account health audit and the wasted spend report run weekly; the multi-channel budget pacing view runs daily during the last week of the month; the client retention alert runs every Friday; the new client full onboarding runs once per client in the first week. Connect the Google Ads manager account and the Meta Business Manager through MCP Ads so Claude can list and read every client account under them, plus GA4 and Search Console per client where they exist. The agency tools in MCP Ads are built for exactly this and return a portfolio view rather than one account. The procedure reads each account's performance and pacing, applies the same thresholds to all of them (or per-client thresholds from their profiles), and ranks the results so the worst problems surface first. The output is a portfolio table with a status per client, a short list of items needing a person today, and, for the reports, a per-client section that can be forwarded to the account manager responsible.
Runs a rapid health check across all client accounts simultaneously. Flags any client with a significant performance drop, budget issue, disapproved ads, or tracking problem. Gives each client a traffic-light status (green, amber, red) and a one-line summary of the situation. Designed for agency account directors to keep oversight across a large client portfolio.
For: Agencies
Run a health check across all client accounts
The complete audit to run in the first week with a new client. Covers Google Ads structure, Meta Ads setup, GA4 configuration, and Search Console indexing health. Identifies critical issues, quick wins for the first month, and builds a 30-60-90 day plan. Includes the talking points for the first strategy call and a section on what the previous agency missed.
For: Agencies
Run the new client onboarding audit for [client]
Compares a client's key metrics (CTR, CPA, ROAS, Quality Score, conversion rate) against industry benchmarks for their sector. Identifies where they are outperforming the market (use in client reports as proof of value) and where they are underperforming (use as justification for recommended changes).
For: Agencies
Compare [client] performance against industry benchmarks
Analyses a client's current activity and identifies services they are not using that would clearly benefit their performance. A client only on Google Ads but with good results is a candidate for Meta. A client not doing SEO while paying for every visitor is leaving organic traffic on the table. Generates a specific upsell conversation for each opportunity.
For: Agencies
Find upsell opportunities for [client]
The full Monday morning agency workflow for a client account. Runs the complete weekly checklist in sequence: account health check, search terms, bid optimisation, ad review, Meta creative fatigue, SEO, budget reallocation, and client report. Replaces a full day of junior campaigner work with a 45-minute review and execute session.
For: Agencies
Run the full weekly agency routine for [client]
Run these skills
Download a skill or a whole set above, or copy a trigger phrase into Claude once the MCP Ads connector is connected. Claude reads the procedure, pulls live data and works through the steps; nothing changes in an account until you approve it.

Frequently asked questions
What happens if I skip the client DNA setup?
Everything still runs, but with generic thresholds and neutral language. The first time you run a skill for an unprofiled client it will suggest setting the profile up.
Can I write my own skills?
Yes. The skill creator walks you through the format used by every skill in this library and produces a file you can run yourself, share with your team or submit to the library.
Can the reporting pack be produced for many clients at once?
Yes. Ask for all clients and Claude runs the same procedure per account and returns a pack for each, which most agencies schedule for the first morning of the month.
What does the retention alert look for?
Anything a client would notice before you do: spend well above or below plan, a sharp fall in leads or revenue, disapproved ads, and conversion tracking that stopped reporting. It lists each with the account and a fix.
How many client accounts can these skills handle?
As many as the manager accounts contain. Larger portfolios take longer to run, so agencies with many accounts usually schedule the portfolio skills early in the morning.
Can different clients have different targets?
Yes. Each client's profile from the client DNA skill stores their goals and thresholds, and the portfolio skills read those so a lead-gen client and an eCommerce client are judged by their own numbers.
